Workshop: Introduction to Larp sword fighting

Learn the basics of safe Larp sword fighting!
In this workshop, you will go through a few basic techniques and learn what you can and cannot do with larp weapons. You will receive instruction on safe fighting and have plenty of time to practice. Join in, especially if you have never held a Larp weapon before, but also if you want a refresher on the basic techniques.

In many Larps, there is fighting. From small skirmishes with a few bandits in the bushes to large epic battles, everything comes up. It is not only important to know how to fight safely but also to be able to apply that knowledge when you are in the middle of it.

What is Larp?
Larp (Live Action Role Play) is a form of role-playing where the emphasis is on physically taking on roles and interacting with other players and the environment from within those roles. Although it has similarities to improvisational theatre, there is an important difference: in Larp, there is no audience; everyone in the play area is actively part of the game.

Workshop: Inleiding tot LARP-zwaardvechten

Leer de basisprincipes van veilig LARP-zwaardvechten!

In deze workshop doorloop je een aantal basistechnieken en leer je wat je wel en niet mag doen met LARP-wapens. Je krijgt instructies over veilig vechten en voldoende tijd om te oefenen. Doe mee, vooral als je nog nooit een LARP-wapen hebt vastgehouden, maar ook als je je basistechnieken wilt opfrissen.

In veel LARP's wordt gevochten. Van kleine schermutselingen met een paar bandieten in de bosjes tot grote epische veldslagen, alles komt aan bod. Het is niet alleen belangrijk om te weten hoe je veilig moet vechten, maar ook om die kennis te kunnen toepassen wanneer je midden in de strijd bent. We hebben wapens beschikbaar om te lenen!
