Dai Sorano is a Japanese musician from the Aizu region of Fukushima, an area famous for landmarks such as Tsuruga Castle and Mount Bandai. Drawing inspiration from traditional folk songs, he created a unique style called Namari Uta (“Songs with Regional Accents”), blending local tradition with modern expression. His music resonates deeply not only in Japan but also with audiences worldwide. In July 2025, he performed for four days at Japan Expo Paris 2025, showcasing this fresh and distinctly Japanese sound to an international audience.
