About KUUHAKー
KUUHAKー is a duo consisting of shakuhachi master Tobe Teizan and DJ/visual designer Octagonia. The name “KUUHAKー” comes from the words kuu (emptiness) and hak (resonance). It expresses their idea of sound moving freely between silence and intensity.

The Performance 
When performing, KUUHAKー brings their name to life. The shakuhachi creates a calm and peaceful feeling, while the DJ adds rhythm and energy. Sometimes the atmosphere feels like a quiet temple. Other times, it feels like a futuristic club. Every show is unique because there is always improvisation, visual projections, and carefully chosen environmental sounds.
