Extreme Cosplay Gathering
You may have heard about Japan-Expo in Paris before, because it's the largest Japanese Pop-culture related event outside of Japan. They started a Pan-European Cosplay competition that only the top countries could compete in. With Season 12 in 2024 however, many changes were made, including the rest of the world with several non-European countries. Changing from European to Extreme comes with changes, as categories will no longer exist. Instead, solos and groups will compete for one spot to represent their country in the Finals.

In our preliminary you can win an expenses paid trip, including hotel rooms to Japan-Expo where you will have to compete and represent The Netherlands at the Extreme Cosplay Gathering, and hopefully win fabulous prizes there! Many thanks to the ECG organisation for giving our cosplayers more time to prepare for their finals, as this AnimeCon we are choosing our representative for 2027!
Champions from previous years are as follows:
2026: Good luck Annelune, we hope you will have a fantastic year ahead.
